Les céramiques concernées sont les toutes les céramiques où la phase cristalline est inférieur en quantité par rapport à la phase organique « attaquable » par l'ac. Fluorhydrique. (c.a.d. Toutes sauf les céram à base de ZrO2 et certaines Allumines)

Rincer abondamment à l'eau	Rinçage abondant à l'eau.
Sécher sans assécher	Immersion dans un bain neutralisant
Application du primer	Silanisation et séchage à l'aide d'air chaud
Application de la colle (le plus souvent les colles actuelles sont des colles composites*).

*Cela implique naturellement que les restaurations doivent être isolées de l'humidité et cela conditionne les préparations de coiffes complètes et les indications de ce type de céramique.
